Nicholas's Story
Where have I been? All over the place actually. For anyone that may read this will probably remember me as that skinny white kid that really didn't have any friends or part of any group. High school was just a requirement for me. I didn't feel the need to try to make the most of those three years. Do I regret it now? In part, but only because it was a somewhat lonely time. 14 years later and I certainly haven't looked back at that time and wished I were still there. ps to Iraq or Europe or the extracurricular activities I am a part of now for any of those days. There are some people that I liked and could have been great friends with if we all been a bit more mature and understanding of what the rest of the world and life would bring our way. Unfortunately most people learn that lesson a little too late, or if they learn it early on its because they more than likely stay around to live it out together.
