Nick's Story
Life
I was one of those people who didn't really seem to "fit in" with any particular group of people at all. If anything, I was mostly a loner. I (for those who knew me and probably don't remember) spent a great deal of my free time in the choir and band rooms. It was in there, that you'd find me sitting at the piano, playing some sort of (if you want to call it) music, usually getting on someone's nerves (evil grin). I (for those of you who care) have been composing piano music over the last 17 years (Yes, I have improved that much!!). I am currently playing in a community band in Seattle called the Rainbow City Band. I play several instruments of the woodwind persuasion (i.e. clarinet, bass/contrabass clarinet, tenor and baritone saxophones and flute, to name a few)! We are both a concert band (Fall through spring) and a marching band (in the summer only). I have also moved from the Baritone saxophone chair in our newly formed Jazz Ensemble called the 'Purple Passion Swing Band, to t...Expand for more
he Lead Alto Sax chair.' I am enjoying being in all of the groups because they are a really good group of individuals, as well as a great bunch of friends. That's my life so far, in a nutshell. You'll have to contact me for any more info, so if you're interested in what's going on in my life, send me a message...I look forward to hearing from you!
Workplace
My first job in HS was as a courtesy clerk at Safeway..lol. I went from there to (gasp) work for a traveling carnival, where I set up, tore down, moved and ran the rides. Lots of work, but so much fun!! I also did other jobs during the 'off-season' i.e. cashiering in a gas station, desk person at the bowling alley, etc. I also worked down at the Seattle Center Fun Forest amusement park as well. I am currently working for Kennelly Keys Music as a Woodwind Repair Technician. I take care of the instruments that some of you probably have rented from us! From there, who knows!! I guess you will just have to wait... and so will I!
