Nick's Story
In 1972 I left the US and moved to Greece. I owned a small hotel in Athens first, then moved to the island of Paros in the south Aegean Sea where I introduced that part of the world to the all-American hamburger by opening "Nick's Hamburgers," the first hamburger restaurant in Greece.
Over the years, Nick's Hamburgers became a landmark on the island and a part of the local folklore, was written up in The New York Times and Vogue Magazine, and recommended in guidebooks the world over. Nick's Hambu...Expand for more

Update July, 2013: I returned to Greece in January, 2008 after a 17 year stay in the US and am now enjoying retired life on Paros - an island of azure seas, golden sand beaches, fiery sunsets...and home of the "Big Nik," the best dang hamburger you'll ever eat!!
