Nick Sottler:  

College Went to TJC my first year(70-71), then to Kansas State University(71-Dec75). Loved the school and met a ton of great people. Started up an oldies rock and roll band and played parties and the like, even won the talent contest at the 1975 Kansas State Fair. We called ourselves 'Bobby Gem and the Blue Diamonds'. Played tons of touch and flag football--my major recreational distraction. Didn't have any money to party and/or date(smile) so sports and 'free' campus activities were my way of getting to meet and know others. I graduated Dec75 and shipped out to Officers Candidate School, USMC, Quantico, VA, on 3Jan76, so I didn't attend grad exercises at KSU. My diploma was mailed to my folks. I saw my diploma for the first time when visiting Trenton, Dad remember to give it to me...that was probably in 1982/83. College was a good time and I still keep in touch with a number of the folks I went to school with at TJC and KSU. As I said--they were great people...Nick Workplace Since July 2002, I've been employed by EOIR, Technologies, as a contractor, working at the National Geospatial-Intelligence College, at the USArmy's, Fort Belvoir, VA.
