Nick's Story
My 15 minutes of fame:
In 2004 I was fortunate enough to blow up a building and set a Guiness World Record at the same time!
I was the Project Manager in charge of the demolition and implosion of Veteran's Stadium and was featured in an hour-long Documentary on the History Channel. I have it on DVD if you would like to buy a copy (just kidding).
I was also interviewed by several news sources (see Philadelphia Magaz...Expand for more
ine Article in my Photos) and was offered a chance to appear on ESPN's "Cold Pizza' the day after the implosion. I'm also mentioned in Wikipedia's History of Veterans Stadium.
It was a thrill to push the button and watch the stadium roll over as we had planned. Eighteen months of planning, meetings, and preparation had been sucessful!
Who knew my experience with explosives all those years ago would finally pay off!!!
