Life
Time to update my bio! Well, I'm no longer working at the bank in California. I'm now a stay at home mom in Atlanta. :)
Here's the past 13 years in a nut shell:
After high school I moved to Oceanside California, went to CSU San Marcos for 3 years, then moved to Spain. Yes Spain! I lived in Spain for 4 years, traveled Europe, and earned a Bachelors in Management from Univ. Maryland European Division Rota, Spain. I then moved back to California, specifically Bakersfield, which I call the "armpit of California," worked at Bank of America as a mortgage specialist for 4 years, bought a condo, got a boyfriend who is now gay, and had a nervous break down. :p Wanting a fresh start, I then transferred with the bank and moved to Tennessee to be close to my family. I left California with my dog Rocky and whatever else I could fit in my Toyota Celica, and never looked backed. I then took a 360 with my career path and enrolled in cosmetology school while still working at the bank. On a school trip to Atlanta to go to a "hair convention," I met my now husband, Wade, who swept me off my feet. So, I became a "beauty school dropout" HA! and moved to Atlanta. I transferred again with the bank to Atlanta where I took a branch manager position. I moved in with Wade and we got married...Expand for more
, and then on February 21, 2006, after 27 hours of labor and a c-section, I gave birth to a baby girl, Elle Taylor McCoy. Born with a kidney defect, the poor thing had a rough first year, but is doing great now. These days I spend a lot of time changing diapers, going to the park, and watching Sesame Street. Being a mom is the hardest and tiring job I've ever had, but the most fulfilling, and I love every minute of it.
Currently we have our house up for sale, which is taking forever. It's been on the market for nearly 9 months now. We're transferring to Knoxville as soon as we sell the house. Whenever that will be! The housing market is brutal right now. Anyone interested in a 4 bdrm, 3.5 bath with finished basement for $550K? ;)
Update! May 13, 2008
UUUUUUGH! I'm still mourning the fact that I turned 32 last week. Where the hell did all those years go? Anyway, I'm still in Atlanta and the house is still for sale after being on the market for 18 months. Very frustrating! And who the hell knows where we'llend up when it sell. It soesn't look likeits gonna be Knoxville. Anyway, I'll try to get these pics updated sometime this week. My baby's not a baby anymore, and I'm not fat :)
