oduction of Bye Bye Birdie, band and being majorette during 9th grade. But the best times were had with my mates, Barbara Remick and boyfriend George Sanchez. My first love was Warren Boxer (rip) and his twin brother and friend Kenny Boxer. Also my childhood friend Rachel Hernandez (where is she today)?? Loved the four sides to SBHS where you could find and experience just about anything! The core was not so much fun as the peripheral areas.... if you know what I mean. Still, running on the first all girls track team under the direction of Cindee Arbelbide (sp), all night running marathons, Robt. Higbee and his creative type classes, Signing poets class, etc.etc. Thinking back, I am sure the memories are far sweeter than what I actually experienced but then isn't that life. I still run long distance but retired by baton over 36 years ago!
