Nicole's Story
Life
I graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1991, and came home to try and go to D.U. Law School. I was on the waiting list for two years in a row and didn't get in. So, I started working in Central City as a blackjack/poker dealer for about 6 yrs., and got burned out working late nights and all Holidays, but met my husband up there. I had my son in 1997, right around the time of the 10 yr Reunion. Greg and I have been married for 8 yrs at the end of the month, but together for over 14 yrs. I started working as a waitress at Village Inn after I left Cental City, and have been there for 12...Expand for more
years. I make okay money, but have health insurance which is important because my son has asthma and my husband has a heart condition. But, recently alot of things were changing at work, so I decided to go back to school in March of 2007. I am enrolled in a Paralegal Certificate program and will graduate in October 2007. I am really excited to graduate and start a new career. Life is good!! I graduated from Paralegal school and quit my job at Village Inn. Yeah, finally. I work for a small lawfirm in downtown Denver, and finally have weekends off. Work is great,and the day flys by.
