Nicole's Story
I went to UM after high school and graduated in 1994. I worked as a nurse for a couple of years in Ann Arbor when I bumped into an old boyfriend, Brian L'Heureux (Canton class of '89). We reunited, got engaged, and I moved out to Albuquerque, NM where he was living/working at the time. We married in 1997, and then moved to Phoenix for about 7 years. We worked hard and played harder, and kept busy as both of us went back to school for our MBAs. We had our first daughter Natalie in 2003. we moved to Huntington Beach, CA. We were in CA for a few years, and had 2 more daughters, Mary Kate in 2005, and Elizabeth in 2006. In 2007 we made a cross-country move to NC where we now live, and had our fourth daughter, Alexandra, in 2008. Currently I stay home with the kids and manage the "domestic responsibilities." While we loved living on the West Coast, we are very happy here in NC- this is a great place to raise a family. Our family is a little crazy with 4 girls under the age of 5, and two big mutty dogs, but it works for us!
