Nicole's Story
Life
I got out of Kent as soon as possible. I live in New Mexico. I'm a sophmore at UNM. I've made a lot of great new friends. I've learned a lot. I'm in a really good place in my life right now. I'm happy.
School
I know I wasn't very social in high school. That wasn't my choice really; it just turned out that way. I really liked Ms. Polzin and Ms. Kelly. They were probably my favorite teachers through out high school.
If I could do my life all over again I would start in fourth grade. I wouldn't have done so many drugs, I would have been a better friend to April Barney, I wouldn't have dated Marcus Trujillo. I would have tried harder in school.
I don't remember high school being fun, happy, or crazy for me. I'm really glad that I've finally made improvements to myself and my surroundings.
College
My first semester of college I had a roommate from Texas. She was alway...Expand for more
s in a good mood and she made sure everyone knew it. Second semester I opted to live in the dorms by myself. It was just a little quiter and I felt like I had a space that was all my own. This year I have five roommates but we live in apartment style housing on campus so we all have our own bedrooms. We share the kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms. I'm Getting an apartment December 14th, 2005.
My first year I partied every night. I went to Kegs, Frat parties, strip clubs, wherever there was a party. This year I've settled down and I'm really focusing on doing good is school.
Workplace
Sence I left Kent I've worked at a tanning salon, in a small business as a receptionist, at a strip club, on campus in the financial aid office, and at The Zone (a local smoke shop). It's been fun for the most part. I've met a lot of interesting people and gained a lot of work experience.
