Nicole's Story

Well, I was born in Boston, MA, grew up in the section of Roslindale where I lived till I was 9 with my parents, Alan & Anne, plus my two sisters, Shaunna and Heather. Was/am very much a HUGE, LOYAL fan of my Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and of the Detroit Red Wings (go figure! lol). I also love still to this day New Kids On The Block and am damn proud of it too! Now when I lived in Rosy I attended Charles Sumner Elementary from Sept. of 1985 - June of 1991. I would have spent my last year there finishing 4th grade but was kept back in first because they discovered my learning disability, so instead I finished my last year in 3rd. My teachers were Ms. Pascal (I think that was how she spelled it) for Pre-K, then Kingergaten was Ms. Antonio, my first 1st grade teach was Miss Nealy and then my second was the late Mrs. Tarpey, 2nd grade - Mrs. Warner and 3rd was Mrs. Brown. I can honestly say I had really good teachers there and they were great with me. At Silver Ridge I only did 2 years so I was there from 1991 - 1993 4th grade was Mrs. Sorensen and 5th grade Ms Olariaga. My ESE teacher was Mrs. Rogge. At Tequesta I was there from 1993 - 1996 and all I can say is I remember having Mrs. Toro and Mrs. Bottileirri or however she spelled it. I don't remember anyone else. Western High I would know by seeing pictures of them. One I can remember who...Expand for more
meant alot during those years there was Mrs. Paschale my ESE teacher because she helped me through alot when I was there and I trusted her. I was in chorus from Sophmore year to senior year and I had Mr. Franks who was a trip in a half and it was alot of fun. I met alot of really awesome people there and it made my last years so much fun! After graduating I never went to college instead went right into working and worked for my cousin-in-law Bill at his tax company for a little over a year, then left and went to work for Publix Supermarkets where I still work as a cashier and am trying to get into Customer Service again. Just turned 30 and am doing well. I visited Boston this past May seeing my baby sister Heather, who lives back up there now in Newton and seeing all my family and close family friends and it made me want to live there, but what is keeping me from doing so is the winters. Do NOT miss the snow at all. Single and have no kids, but I'm still optimistic and hopefull something good will happen, till then I'm enjoying the hell out my sister Shaunna and my best friends, Steven and Lillian and our adventures together.I have no idea if anyone I went to school with at any of these schools remember me but if you do remember me, Hi! If not, well hello nice to meet you and can't wait to hear from all of you and hear your stories/memories!! :)
