Nicolle's Story
Life
After looking around at this site, I think I will do the unthinkable and just let it rip. I am not going to blow smoke up anyone's backside and try to impress anyone. What do I have to do that for? High school is long over and I no longer have to be afraid to show the real me. Are you still afraid? I am separated after an 11 year marriage and now enjoying life again. I did serve in the navy for 5 years as a jet engine machanic (AD) and was Aircrew and plane captain, but decieded that it just wasn't my lifestyle and moved on. My fav plane was the Tomcat or F-14. Served in Desert Storm/Shield and Bosnia. Got out and when to collage in Jacksonville Florida. Graduated with honors with an AA. Working on my BA still. I am very much a work in progress, full of successes and failures but what a ride I have been having!
As for me now, well I am growing older but refuse to grow up. Not the same good girl I was back then! I still love Star Wars and movies, some things never change! If you want to know more just ask, I don't know what else to tell you. Just do me a favor, i would love to hear from old friends and classmates but leave the games and BS out of it. Don't need it or want it!
Peace.

Went to boot camp in Orlando, Florida. Next I attended Naval Aviation Aircrew Canidate School in Pensicola, Florida (Graduated in the top 2). Attended Aviation Machinist Mate School in Millington Tenn. Than off to my first duty station in NAS Ocean in VA-42 or the Green Pawns, got to tell you what a rat hole that duty was! I couldn't wait to get out of there. After that I did some work with VF-84 (Jolly Rogers) and even though I was not an official member of the squadron, because women were not allowed in sea going squadron at the time, I was considered a vital member. Those will always be my boys. The next duty station I had I volunteered for was with VF-32 (Swordsmen). They were the first F-14 squadron that was sea going to take women. We went out on the historic first 6 month cruise with women on a carrier in fall of 94 to spring of 95. It was as bad as I thought and sometimes even worse. I did get to visit UAE, Isreal, Turkey, Spain, France, Monacco, Italy, Iraq, Bosnia, and Greece. I had a blast working on jets and became a Plane Captain and launched and recovered jets on the flight deck. I did enjoy my time in the service and do not regret any of it.... but would i re-enlist? HELL NO!!!! he he....
