After a short stint there, CN transferred me to Montreal (1986), I then went to Vancouver (1991), back to Montreal (1995), then Edmonton (1999), then Chicago (2008) and then back to Edmonton (2011). My wife Janice and I have recently celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary. We have 3 children, all grown, graduated from university and out working. In 2014, I retired from CN Rail as Chief Engineer Track and Structures. We now live on Vancouver Island. I now have my own international consulting company and consult about 20% of my time.
