Nikki-marie's Story
I was born in 1970 in a small coastal community called Cartwright, Labrador. From there moved to 5 Wing Goose Bay, Labrador. From there there I grew up on the Air Force Base. I went to the schools on the Air Force Base. I had to quickly learn at a tender younge age had to take care of my father, who ended up a wheelchair from an accident. My name is Nikki-Marie, I am a wife of a retired British Air Force Sgt. I am married for almost 10 years to Alan who has been and still is recovering from an brain aneurysm. He is still fighting for his life. I still stand by his side, never give on hope for him for one day for him to get better. Just taking one day at a time. a long hard road in my life, the hopes for him to recover soon. To have my friends and family support around makes life a little more better to cope on the path of my life. Be strong, giving him the courage to recover, given him hope to live again.
