Life Not so sure you'd consider this as an 'update'... but as of the past two-three years (2005-2007), I've been instructing biology courses at a community college (adjunct position), conducting biological (wildlife, T&E species) surveys as a consultant, and working at a vw (volkswagon) shop as a 'hands-on' assistant.... also 'out of the garage' (not paid)...i recently assisted in building a custom engine to my 73 bug which i've had since 85...my first and only car... in the life and dream q&a's was tough to answer...over the years i have obtained a bachelor's and a master's in biology...decided to not do a phd and instead i traveled throughout europe with a backpack (actually two, large back one and a small one on the front) for two months. i've been paid to hike in the sierra nevada mountains and here in the central valley (CA) looking for threatened and endangered species, hike and survey on lake powell (AZ), and conduct wildlife surveys throughout the grand canyon (paid to whitewater raft!). I have obtained grants on my own for surveys of snakes in the grand canyon and owls throughout arizona of which i have a few publications. oh, i also have been involved with 'circle track' racing (dirt oval track)...my housemate and i won the central valley modified mini-outlaw championship a couple years back ...i was the crew chief and he the driver..then the class wasn't really com...Expand for more
