Wow..how do you sum up a lifetime of experience? in a few paragraphs??? It sounds like an assignment right out of Mr Lipp's english class...LOL Well, I suppose I could hit the highlights, so here goes... I graduated from wagner college in 1985 with a bachelors degree in nursing. From there, went (crazy) to nc into the mountains....that was quite a history lesson...kind of like on the job training..(anyone see deliverance???LOL) Did (expensive) intensive care for awhile and found myself working in all aspects of cancer nursing (oncology). That was the gift for exhile in the mountains i guess..I learned so much about life and living from my patients. I decided I needed more education in order to do more for those patients, so I went across the state and enrolled in Duke University grad school(twice!) So, with a masters degree in oncology and a post masters in adult health primary care as nurse practitioner, I felt more prepared to make a difference.
