Norena's Story
I currently live in Boise, Idaho for 15 years and previously lived in the San Francisco Bay Area after graduating from Santa Clara University in 1983. I adopted two boys who are brothers from Houston, Texas 11 years ago and they are the loves of my life. The oldest is now 12 years old and his little brother is 11 years old. We love to travel and just came back from a two week trip to Egypt. I was just in Poland with my roommate from college where one of her movies she produced and acted in was featured in an International Film Festival.
I worked for Hewlett Packard for 23 years in the Bay Area and then in Boise. I traveled all over the world in diffferent management roles and was ultimately the director for employee communications (150,000 employees worldwide). I wrote speeches for Carly Fiori...Expand for more
na, the then CEO. I was laid off in 2005 and then became a realtor in Boise. Most recently, I worked for the Democrats during the Obama campaign and was elected as one of 23 delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Denver. I had the pleasure of meeting Barack and Michelle Obama.
The boys and I have traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain and 10 US States including Maui (my favorite place in the world next to Barcelona). Our most recent trip to Egypt was our most adventurous. We have plans to travel to China, New Zealand/Australia, London, Paris, Italy and Cambodia (Ankgor Watt) before they graduate from High School. After graduation, we will get those special airline tickets to travel around the world for 6 weeks and see how far we can go.
