Norma's Story
After high school, I completed yr long fashion merchandising school. Wanted to make a difference, so I joined the Marine Corps. Stationed at various bases & was in Public Affairs field (military journalist & PR rep).
Came back to NE - last duty station in 29 Palms, CA (The Stumps). My Mom died a yr later. I thank God I was able to spend that time with her, after so many years apart.
Fast Fwd to CA, living in Orange County with my family & mini zoo (ha ha).
Earned AA in fine arts, but taking a break from finishing up the BA & finally working on some writing projects. Been working as hospice caregiver for about ten years...I also homeschooled my girls...one is now in college and other in high school.
God & Family & my pets are the center of my life, & I feel so blessed to have them.

MOST Life Changing: "Put God 1st in life - That's when life got good!" So much more to learn...used to dread getting older...but now I look forward to being with Jesus & learning to age gracefully & still be young @ heart!!!

PS I am a film buff, love history (Rev War, Civil War, ancient history), geneaology, all genres of music...perfomring arts. My daughter is in special effects makeup and youngest is in a repertory theater...so that is always fun and interesting and sometimes stressful...Wishing 1979 kids a blessed life and the achievement of your true dreams and passions!!!
