Life
Life is great ! Retired early and moved back to Binghamton to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fishing. Also to renew old friendships.
Have two GReat children ! Evan and Erin ! Best thing that ever happened in my life. Both turned out to be wonderful individuals. Both graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.
My daughter had my first grandaughter ( Ava ) and I got to meet her in July 2009.
Workplace
My first job was pallet making in Sanitaria Springs N.Y. ! $1.40 an hour ! : ) Hard but satisfying work.
My Assistant Directorship at the University of Illinois was very satisfying because I met and helped people from all over the world.
I am happy now in retirement but am bored so I will probably find a new job soon.
Keep myself fit by playing 50 to 70 games of Racquetball a week. Also, play because of my many great friends. Kind of a social club !
One thing that would surprise my friends at our next high school reunion would be! I wrestled in an open tournament at the age of 55 and placed 2nd to a college wrestler at...Expand for more
the 179lb weight class even though I weighed only 160 pounds. By the way, I wrestled at 95 pounds in high school !!! That would also surprise them.
Enjoy get togethers with family and friends and anything to do with water.
I enjoy setting up social events with others. Especially, tubing down rivers and creeks.
Will begin traveling and camping a lot this summer
( 2008 ) because we have such a beautiful country to see. Some by car and maybe by train.
Also, hope to go to many Big Ten Football schools this fall to tailgate and watch football at it's finest.
I want to give thanks to the many family, friends, and acquaintances that I have met over the years that have helped me along the way.
Especially, my teachers from Chenango Valley High and Professors at Illinois Central College. I just wish everyone could have these dedicated individuals to learn from.
