Norman 's Story
After graduating from WEHS, spent a full academic year at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, before returning to BG for three years at WKU. Completed an M.A. at U of Ky, then moved to Atlanta for a year and a half, where I eventually ended up in my main line of work, namely as an international freight forwarder with then Circle Airfreight Corp.
Moved back to Madrid (I was born in Spain, am a duo-citizen) in Dec 1986. Temporarily did a stint in Moscow in 1992, where I advanced my Russian language abilities. In 1995 I met my spouse, Dennis (an American living in S...Expand for more
pain since 1976); we wed (legal here) in 2005. Unfortunately Dennis suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's, which is now in an advanced state; so I gave up work to take care of him full-time. We live in a penthouse near the Mediterranean (could see the water from the roof, until the most recent high-rise was constructed!), enjoying the good climate and food, and relaxed seaside atmosphere.
Have travelled extensively, especially Europe (virtually all) and the Middle East. And enjoyed many wonderful experiences, such as smoking opium in Iran or drinking coca tea in Peru!
