More about Norton:"Where does your biography begin when your a driver in Hollywood ? My parents met in the 4th grade of the Edgartown School on Martha's Vineyard Island. 's) took a far different route in arriving to America. On a whaling expedition in the mid to late Eighteen hundreds, Captain Jeremiah Peas whaling ship
stopped off the coast of the Azore Islands, Portugal, to pick up some natives for the expedition(the Portuguese were world renowned for their navigational skills). It was on one of these voyages that the first Flynn made his way to the western world. Adriano Domingos Luciano, my great, great grand father and brilliant "harpooner", was recruited by Captain Pease, he eventually immigrated to Fall River Ma. Due to prejudice and other intolerant behavior levied against him and other indigenous citizens Adriano felt it prudent to change his name to something more socially acceptable, having many friends in the Boston area who were naturally Irish, Adriano chose the Irish name of "Flynn"and changed his full name to: George Daniel Flynn, on or about 1875. Sadly while having the official pedigree of this great indigenous fisherman I was born devoid of any of his wonderful traits, talents(although it has been said of me; Norton doesn't fish for compliments, he harpoons for them), or even his olive colored skin complete with that special tendency towards tanning( a shame considering my numerous Southern California childhood exploits at the beach. And so the adventure continues, "Gold Time or bust"!!".
