Norvell's Story
I grew up in South Los Angeles..lived in the fast lane and had a lot of fun but, it soon got the best of me and I turned my negatives into positives..I was in many activities when I was young like the brownies...ywca...girl scouts volunteering/paid baby sitting jobs and I have 9 brothers and sisters..(large 2 parent family)that change by the time I was in my mid-teen years... but girls just wanna have funnn.. divorced, my mom held us together as well as possible but,we soon began to get involved with the in-crowd other stuff started happening..I am involved in the community,an activist, Director of a at-risk-youth/adults p...Expand for more
rogram and constantly look for other networking partners to get work for our people and their child..grands..
cause ya'll know we are seniors now ha!...ha! lol..I try to stay active in politics of our people and say what I mean and mean what I say... I Love God, family, friends and peole who want to make a difference...I want to live until God calls me home and I wannna and have a ball doing it...We work/volunteer with many city, state local and federal officials and seeking a new grant writer to help us with proposals now..I often see Judge Mablean at these events that we partner with...and meet lots of old/new friends..
