Oletha's Story
I started my senior year as Oletha Weldon, in Oct. of that year I became Oletha Collins. I was married to Roy at the Red Fork Assembly of God church. In May of 1959 I graduated. In March of 1960 we had our first baby girl, then in Nov. of 1961 we had another baby girl, in March of 1965 we had our last baby girl. I worked at Community Bank for several years, at Southwest Tulsa Bank for another several years, then at Berryhill High School for 5 years then on to our business till we retired in 2002. We bought the printing company Roy was working for in Jan. 1976. We love to bass and crappy fish when the lakes are not flooding. All of our girls are grown and away from home, we have 6 grandkids, 4 boys & 2 girls & 1 great granddaughter. Roy and the son-n-laws and grandsons fish and hunt a lot, Roy also works in the yard and I help him do that. The only traveling we do is to go see our kids in New Mexico, and now our granddaughter in Ok City she along with her husband just moved here from Denver where she graduated with a bachelor of Science Biology degree, she is attending OU Medical school and is now a Boomer Sooner. nother great grandbaby in March. One of our grandsons is married with one child he is youth pastor at their church in Carlsbad, NM. His parents are the pastors there. Our 2nd daughter and her husband are the childrens pastors at Carbondale Assembly of God church in Tulsa, their oldest son is a second year student at TCC in Tulsa, the other one will be a senior at Berryhill High School this year. Our 3rd daughter and her husband teach the 5th grade class along with other duties at Carbondale Assembly in Tulsa. They have 2 children, their son will be in the 3rd grade and their daughter will be in kindergarten. All of our son-n-laws are ministers we are very proud of them. I am a 24/7 wife, mother, grandmother & greatgrandmother there is not a day goes by that I don't need to make a run for someone. That is what makes life worth living.

Update: Our 8 year old grandson bagged his first Buck, a 100lb. Osage County 4 pointer on opening morning of the 2007 Special Youth Hunt, his dad was his guide. On opening weekend of gun season, he also bagged a 90lb. doe. We are very proud of him.
