Olin's Story
Life
Served 22 years with the New Castle County Dept. Of public Safety (Delaware). Retired in 1990 with the rank of police major. Moved to the Ocala Fl area 1990. I became a certified Florida law enforcement officer in 1992. I served two years with the Levy Co. Sheriffs Office. Then Served as the Chief of Police of the City of Williston, FL. Williston is the largest city in Levy Co. FL. I Served for three and one half years as chief of police. I am now totally retired and can be found fishing about 30 miles off shore in the Gulf of Mexico most good days....LOL. I have three grown children and three grandchildren. I guess I'm not totally retired as I own a 65 acre tree farm and do occasiona...Expand for more
lly have to work around here!! Oh, in between graduation and now I mangaged to get married, divorced, remarried and divorced and then remarried again! I've had a busy but good life. Living the country life for the past 11 years has been great. I live in a rural county of approx. 1,200 square miles and with a population of about 30,000 people. I have planted more pine trees then there are folks living in this county. Oh,by the way if you visit Walt Disney World Orlando and stay at any of the newer hotels or visit the sports complex you will see a lot of nice healthy pine trees. Many of those trees were grown right here on my farm and then sold to Walt Disney World. Their money is very green!
