Opal's Story
After graduation from high school I got married. I was only married briefly. I became a parent in 1975 and I have only one son. I lived in Compton from 1959 to 1986, then I moved to Perris Ca and lived there until 2006 then I moved to Atlanta GA where I am currently living. I have remained single since my divorce way back when. I am still in contact with 3 of my friends that I have known since elementary school and we became good friends in Jr High school.They

worked in the Insurance Industry for most of my career but I must say the most interesting job that I had was in Vital Statistics where I registered birth and death certifcates for the county of Riverside CA. I will be 64 this year (2013) and I am hoping that my senior years are good ones. I am currently working as a Library Asst in the Children's Library. I enjoy reading Children's books. I have read all of the Nancy Drew 56 original book series and all of the Caldecott Award books,and hundreds of other children's books.
