Orene's Story
Life
The week after graduation, I moved to San Diego, CA. What a great place to live. I was marred in 1997 to my best friend, Derek Knapp, and in 1999, after 10 years in California, we moved to Bozeman, Montana to follow his career as an Air Traffic Controller. After living there 2 fantastic years, we made the difficult choice to take a job offer in Lansing, Michigan. We were there 3 years, then Ann Arbor/Detroit, Michigan another 3 years. n the pacific northwest where we wanted to be. And yes, there is amazing baseball here with our 2nd favorite team, the Mariners! What a great city! Snow skiing, Puget Sound and Pacific ocean beaches, hiking, camping, mountains, and very little of that nasty little four letter word "SNOW" to contend with. We may just settle down after all!
We do not have children yet, just two cats that have us very well trained. One plus of not having kids yet is that we are able to spend a great deal of time traveling. Our last big trip was to South Africa, where we fell in love with the people and culture.
