Ori's Story

Life I have no kids, which is great, I am able to further in my career with college and receive the job I want, which is in Law Enforcement. I am in a serious relationship working to tie the knot after I graduate. God has been my grace through this all, I received my Confirmation a year ago. Of course I am a Catholic. It was great to relieve stress from school and life to my priest, a great man. Life is good, and I can't say better, because after I graduate I will be moving to Miami, and I am working on a internship with KBI. It's a tough job considering I am a girl, but of course in my bio of military you will see why I am entering this job. LOL. College I'm in the University of Kansas I have one and a half years to graduate with a degree in Sociology. Freshmen year was great met new people all around the world. Met my own Salsa dance partner and been dancing for three years now. College life is great, the bars, clubs, events, and oppurtunities for me to grow as a responsible adult and finding the right career path to achieve and I am half way there....Expand for more
Workplace I have a professional job at Target that is leading me to my career path which is great that my AFROTC was able to give me this job because of my experiences, and lead me to be a leader. Now my job is leading me to my career, which is good to know I can wake-up and go to a job I love, and know they are there to help me achieve my dream job. And I make enough to be on my own, and school, that's all that matters. Military I was in the AFROTC in KU. A great place to be if you want to be a pilot or a nurse, but with my degree it can go only go so far as an officer, however, because of my experiences I achieved my dream job. At KU I was the strongest female in PT at all areas thanks to my coaches in high school and JROTC at Killeen. As a freshmen I was the only one to have a job as an Asst. Physical Fitness Officer. I went to Boot Camp and finished and hoping to be an officer, but that went out the window but because I accomplished so much in the AFROTC, it started another career path, and I thank all my cadre and professors for their support.
