ormondATmail.com...After annoying almost everyone in Key West, I went to Florida State on gummint physics money (geek in Sputnik time). In '61 I went to San Francisco and aided and abetted the Music and Sexual Revolution for years, starting an alternative newspaper in Spokane (the Natural), and sliding over to Seattle and then Port Townsend. '78 found me in Key West again for fifteen years, battling the City about houseboats (Mayor of Houseboat Row), and observing the slide into total prostitution to tourists, so I moved to Englewood, Florida, and then back to Berkeley, my intellectual home. Two kids, born in 70 and 85, both mostly homeschooled and precocious, one a Marine Ranger, big rig owner and the other a Conflict Negotiator/global ecologist. ...Expand for more
I'm married to a tall, dark and handsome brilliant funny woman named Lynda. We grossly enjoy each other, despite the worries of our friends. I'm active in our 450 unit coop government, and still drive scooters, Honda Helix. Healthy, a bit of melanoma now and then from too much sun on the beach renting Hobies and windsurfers.
Studying cognitive science, sociology, evolutionary psychology, still trying to save the world.
Speak at atheist humanist secular philosophy groups about all that. Ride around Marin meditating on the last 200,000 miles of crash free two wheeling.
