More about Oscar:"I am a man of many passions, and when I'm passionate about something, it's very clearly evident.
My number one passion, hands down, is living for Christ Jesus, my master and savior; His place is at the center of my life, and He has influence over all areas of my life; the sport of real olympic style wrestling is a huge passion in my life. I started wrestling when I was 15, and I've been an enthusiast, advocate, promoter, and participant of the sport ever since; I love my original homeland, Honduras. It is very dear to me. I long to go back again soon someday specifically to work to more hope and truth to my people there that live in some really tough times; I love my adoptive homeland, the U.S. of A., as well. Coming to live here has ...Expand for more
been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Truly, it is the land of greatest opportunity in the world, despite the fact that it struggles with many signs of decay in society. I try to serve each day here to help this country hold on to what made it so great at one time.
I'm an extrovert who thrives on connecting with people of all types of backgrounds. I have the ability to assimilate extremely well into a wide variety of people groups. I value community and friendship very highly. Once people find a place in my heart through whatever interactions and circumstances, they don't get dismissed easily. When I go out in my community, I run into people I know just about everywhere I go, and I make it a point to interact with them as much as time permits. I have a good rapport with most of the people I know. It means a great deal to me to do whatever I can to help maintain that good rapport. I love a good conversation. When I talk to someone, I look to know and understand what is truly inside that person, and I look to share what is inside of me as trust develops between us.
I'm a ham, pretty much. (I admit it.) I'm pretty comfortable commanding a great deal of attention from people. I enjoy performing in front of people. I love singing karaoke. I did for the first time in 1993, and I've been hooked ever since; I've dabbled with some acting on stage, and I'm dying to find the time to do some more; I used to do some modeling when I was younger and in better shape. When I manage to get in really good shape again, I'd love to get back into it. I had a great deal of fun doing it, and I met many really cool people. It's going to take a strong commitment to get in really good shape again, though. My body doesn't respond the same way as it did when I was 20 years old. Who's does at my age? It's worth a try, though. I certainly want to look and feel as good as I can physically. I'm supposed to take care of this body in order to accomplish what I am meant to accomplish in this life; I also enjoy dancing socially. I have since I was a young boy. I have good basic coordination and rhythm, so I can learn basic steps w/out too much difficulty if given good direction.".
