Owen's Story
Life
After graduating from Ball State University in 1965 I took a job teaching biology in East Gary, IN. Married Nov. 1965 to Labrine Dimos who taught Home Economics in the same school. Moved to Indianapolis 1967 to attend medical school. Moved to Valparaiso, IN. 1972 and moved to Chesterton, IN in 1976. Practiced Family Practice and Addiction Medicine until 1994, then began to work half time in Occupational Medicine and half time in Family Practice. Presently working full time in Occupational Medicine. Obtained Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University 1999. d and is a physical therapist. Cathy was born in 1973,lives in Dallas, TX. and is in internet marketing. Christina, our youngest daughter, graduated with a degree in music from Western Michigan and is a Family Physician. She released a CD of Christmas music in 2003. Labrine directed the Parents as Teachers program for 11 years. The program works with children from birth to 5 years of age and their parents. I am very proud of the success of Labrine and the program as its impact will pay dividends to future generations of children. Moved to Carmel IN May 2005 to work for Community Healthcare Network. Hope to be able to hear what others have been doing as we have scattered to the four winds.
