Paige's Story
Life
After graduating from highschool in 1980, our family moved to Spokane WA, in September 1980. I went to Eastern Washington University from 80 to 84.
I moved to Detroit in early 1985 after being hired by Electronic Data Systems. I still work for EDS which is hard to believe. It was a crazy time in Detroit for 4 years. EDS hired thousands of college grads to take on the challenge of being merged with GM. It was like being in college again, but this time with money.
After 4 years, I was lucky enough to transfer to the Seattle area in 1989, where I still live. I got married in 2001, my wife's name is Tammy, my step daughter is Erica, who is now in college at the University of Utah majoring in vocal performance.
I've picked up the awesome hobby of hiking / backpacking. This area is spectacular for doing outdoor activities. ...Expand for more
I've hiked all over the US, most recently in Glacier National Park in July 2005.
I've also enjoyed getting back into bicycling, particularly with the road bike. You know how it goes, once I got the car keys from Dad at 16, I couldn't spell the word "bicycle" anymore. But 6 - 7 years ago, I got smart again, and starting riding again. What a cool way to exercise and enjoy the scenery at the same time!
Tammy and I just bought a new house north of Seattle as my job changed, now working on the Microsoft account, serving their internal IT needs.
Late in 2004, we got certified to scuba dive, and we dove in Cozumel (near Cancun) in Mexico. VERY COOL! It was a challenge for me to learn how to dive, breathing underwater took a while to get use to.
College
I definitely sowed some wild oats in college.....No more need be said....
