Pam's Story
Life
I got married in 1970 to Larry Linker, we've been married for 40 years, that is a long time! We are now living in Stallings NC, right outside Matthews in Union County and love it. Larry was in the Army when we were married and stationed in Germany. We lived there a year, it was great! It was the first time I had been away from home...newly married, young and free......awesome!! We came back to Charlotte in 1972 and started working, I haven't stopped. Larry has had lots of health issues lately, he's now on Duke's transplant list.

son, Wes 30 and a granddaughter, Katie 7 and Sara 2. I didn't know being a grandmother would be so much fun!
When we got back from Germany I worked for a furniture company in accounts payable for 6 years, then totally changed careers and worked in a contact lens lab making contact lenses for 13 years. I work at Temple Beth El now on Providence Road and have been here for 17 years. I'm not Jewish but it's a great place to work, lots of really nice people and have made many live long friends.
