Pam's Story

After high school (which I really don't remember much of), I went to UT Austin, where I spend another 4 years in complete oblivion. Got a bachelor's in Psychology (which I didn't know at the time, but these degrees don't get you a job!). Worked a few different jobs in and around the medical field. Married a drug and alcohol addicted schizophrenic for awhile. Divorced. Re-married a decent guy, had 3 awesome kiddos and went back to school and became a registered nurse. Now, I work at Woman's Hospital, and am back in school again! (UPDATE: I used to work at Woman's....I was fired in Jan...Expand for more
uary 2010 for refusing to take the flu vaccine after six years there) My kids are ages 22, 20 and nearly 18. The oldest, a girl, is at UT Dallas and should graduate december 2010. She wants to go to medical school. The 20 year old, a boy, goes to A&M majoring in nuclear engineering.. My youngest, a girl, will go to UT Tyler in the fall of 2010.. I'm really dreading that "empty nest" already!!! We live in Sugar Land, but right on the boarder with Richmond, TX....across the Brazos. I've always wondered how kids perceived me in high school....I think it's different than how I viewed myself.
