Pam's Story
You might expect to figure out who I really am from the 50 or so books that I've written. You can read them, sure, but trust me - I've never owned a farm, had a baby by natural childbirth, flown a falcon, landed an airplane after the pilot slumped dead over the controls, been a surrogate mother, sold bagels on the dock at Ketchikan, Alaska, been an auto mechanic, a nun, or a high wire walker. Since my heroines have done all those things and more, I DO have a lot of knowledge about various and sundry topics - so then why didn't I win on Jeopardy! when I was a contestant?? It must be because I was fascinated with Alex's mustache the whole time I was supposed to be buzzing in....and his mustache has now disapp...Expand for more
