Pam's Story

After high school, I attended UNLV for two years. I then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the University of Utah. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1994. In 1991, I married my husband. He is a software engineer that specializes in internet security software. We have two boys ages 13 and 9. l my youngest son was diagnosed with autism in 2001. Since then, I have stayed home to coordinate all his therapies. He has done well, but is still home-schooled. Thus, my nursing career is still on hold. My new found career is being President for an autism group called (UtahFEAT--Families for Effective Autism Treatment). I hope to return to nursing someday, but until then, autism advocacy keeps me plenty busy!!!
