Pam's Story
Life
Hi all
New things all the time! In 2006 I moved to Washington DC. to be the nanny granny for my son RJ and his wife Judy who presented me with twin grand daughters Ava and Bridgette. RJ is a chef in Washington at the Vidalia Restaurant, he won the James Beard Award in 2007 for Top Chef Mid Atlantic Region. Wished he'd cook at home. But thank God he still likes mom's cooking. Judy is a lobbyist, so her busy schedule keeps her out of the kitchen, out of the country....and I'm back in the kitchen.
After 15 years in Florida, I am finding Virginia a beautiful, exciting place. Washington is so historical and interesting and it's not far from the ocean ...Expand for more
or the mountains. Politics aside. If you haven't been to DC it certainly is worth the trip to come and see it. It makes you proud to be an American! The Vietnam Memorial is awsome, as is the Korean. Everyone from our era should see it.
I have discovered Facebook. Love it! Have connected with more Farmingonites. I get back to Farmington three or four times a year, my mom is still there, so if you're in the area. I'd love to see you. A bunch of us got together and laughed ourselves silly last fall. 2009 I would love to see you.
I feel the warmth from all of you, and the simpler times we lived in in the 50's and 60's and my heart is full of love.
