Pam's Story
When I left HHS on the high of being the class president, feeling like the world awaited me, I would never have known my life would be what it is today. Do any of us? w years ago, was accepted into the Huntington Gardens Art Guild and recently was part of a group show featuring our members.
On the personal front, I was married in 2000 to a wonderful man (some of you may have met him at our 20th reunion), but we realized our ideas of marriage weren't the same after all, so we amicably split. Last January, we lost him to Cancer.
My favorite things to do are as they have always been, except that I get to do them in one of the busiest and craziest cities in the nation. I'm here in Hollywood, CA, one block from where L. Frank Baum used to live and one block from the apartment where Carol Burnett grew up. I am surrounded by history and when I walk to the metro, I can take a train to any part of the city to experience cultural events, movies, theater, comedy, etc....its still a great place to live.
