Pam's Story
Life
According to classmates.com, my life bio cannot be more than 4000 characters Â
. Hmmm, I don't think the bio will fit! After all, I now have to fit 54 years of info into 4000 characters. Ain't gonna happen! But, let's give it a shot.
After graduation in 1970 things happened in my life that I never saw coming. I got married, lived in IL, CA, back to IL, WI, KS and now am living in AZ. Had I stayed working with the consulting company, I'm sure there would have been many more states added to that list.
I have been married 34 years to the same man this June. I have a step-son and daughter-in-law and 3 grandsons who live in California.
I realized at the age of 40, when I was told I would be a grandmother, that life was quickly passing me by. So, I decided it was time to finally get my bachelors degree. I worked full time as a Sr. Department Manager (managing 125+ people), went to school part time, maintained a marriage (to this day I still don't understand how my husband stayed with me, but he did), and finished my college courses to graduate with both an AA and a BA.
I have worked in the corporate world most of my life in materials management, rec...Expand for more
ords management, and information technology as a consultant. But I changed the routine beginning in early 2002 when I was laid off because my job was outsourced to India --- I became a Realtor! [So, if any of you or your family are moving to the Phoenix area and need to buy a house....]
Hobbies Â
I don't really have a "hobby" only because my schedule is always busy. But I do love making jewelry ... and actually my husband likes this also. It saves him bunches of money since I get bored with jewelry after wearing it only a couple of times. Besides selling real estate, I work part time for my church [ok Â
those of you who really 'knew' me in high school Â
I know this working for the church thing comes as a real shock! Yes, I do HAVE to watch my potty mouth!]
Overall, my "life history" is pretty boring --- so if you were checking in to see what's exciting, sorry for the disappointment! But do drop a note just to say 'hi'! 1970 seems soooo long ago and I have thought many times about my classmates!
I look forward to hearing from more of you!

(p.s. this was easier than I thought Â
I did all this with just over 2200 characters!)
