Pam's Story

Well, I've discovered that if you don't fill in your Classmates profile it gets filled in with Facebook information, so I thought I should update with the real story. I didn't graduate with all of you because my dad was transferred in my senior year. I finished high school in Kansas City, then went to the University of Kansas. After college I moved to Los Angeles, where I lived for 27 years working in the movie industry. I met my husband Paul, a transplanted Brit, there, and in addition to his daughter Shawn, we had Emily and Jake, now 23 and 20 respectively. at Jake could have a little more freedom, I moved back to the east coast and opened an historic inn in Cumberland Md. It has worked beautifully for Jake...he learned to ski, was chosen to be on the US ski team at the World Special Olympics this year in South Korea, came home with a gold medal and was given the key to the city! He is my hero. Emily graduated from UC Santa Barbara and is now pursuing a master's in special ed, and Shawn just gave birth to the first grand baby. The only casualty was Paul's and my marriage, but we have a great relationship, are co-owners of the inn and he visits frequently to hang with Jake. So...all in all can't complain! Excited to go the reunion and find out what everyone else has been doing for 40 years. :)
