Pamela's Story

Actually I didn't do much in high school that anyone other than my best friend, Linda Lantz, would remember. We were hooked at the hip but when I moved to Ohio we lost touch. I have been married three times, but with my third husband I found my soul mate. I actually married someone from the Heights and he turned out to be a better husband than any 'rich' guy. He worked HARD for our family up until he became disabled ( he did a tour in Viet Nam and the Agent Orange caught up with him) and even being disabled he is an amazing husband. He has always loved me for me, given me my space when needed and has always treated me like I'm the most important person in the world. I wanted to go to medical school to be a Medical Asst., so he encouraged me, but then I wanted more excitement and took my EMT and worked for a time on an ambulance but then wanted to work in the emergency room, so I went to school and became a truama room nurse until I h...Expand for more
ad a wreck and was no longer able to work. Even though we are both disabled now, we are still very busy raising our 13 yr. old daughter (who was born 19 yrs. after our youngest son at 19 went into the army (yep a oops, but a very wonderful oops). Now I am following my life long dream of writing, which my husbands encourages me to pursue. Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to publish something. We also have 4 older children, our youngest son just retired medically out of the military after 16 yrs. and two tours of Iraq, where both tours he had suffered some injuries. We are proud of all of our children, but most of all our military son (who left the military with quite a few medals, achievement awards and military commendations). But all of this is why I say my husband is so awesome, he has ALWALYS encouraged me to follow my dreams, has always treated me great and has been and still is an awsome, hands on dad to our children.

I've waited all day to talk about my hero! He should be 72 today but because of Vietnam my big brother Rodger, joined our parents and Jami and the Lord on June 17, 2016. He was my hero because he was the most stable person
I'd love for Nikki and I to go to Moro Bay... Wayne and I spent our honeymoon there and we used to take the kids
yep and I'm an Adams through and through
And here I just thought it was the "Adams" in me
