More about Pamela:"After graduating I worked as a pharmacy Tech until I married my hubby Mike! We moved to Texas he was in the military. He got out moved back to Va I went back to my old job. Then in 1996 my whole life changed. I got hit with a lung disease called sarcoidosis. I had a mass on my trachea removed the size of a softball. They told my family it was cancer I had less then 6 mo. to live but as you can see it was not. I have been a steroids 13 yrs now! have has nermous surgerous due...Expand for more
to the breking down of bones from the steroids. I have had diabetes stomach problems you name it!Several of Dr.s found a drug that I go to the cancer center every 2 weeks a get a drug called Imuran this is gonna hopefully one day get me off my steroids. I have been on 80 mg I have made it to 3 mg now of the steroids! I have been on the imuran for about 8yrs now I take alot of pre- nausea meds and allergy meds to keep from reacting to others meds but so far I am doing well. So what ended from this girl who was never sick wanted to have a family after marriage. I got my hubby but was told I could never have kids. We were trying to adopt got excepted 2 yrs ago by a birth family a infant baby boy. 3 weeks before we were to go get him from the hospital her in laws had her and him change there mind. So life is intresting. You live each day tto the fullest because you do not know what tommorow will bring. I am so glad to have this Facebook to where I can talk to you all. I am still Pam.
