Pamela's Story
Life
After High School I went to Ball State University, married in 1965, graudated in 1966 and taught at the State School for the Deaf for several years while my husband attended medical school, took a few graduate courses at Ball State untill the Navy took us to Beaufort, S.C. from 1974-1976. We returned to Indy and I continued to teach some on a volunteer basis. In 1979 I began working with my husband in his practice.After a few years I decided to do my own thing. e on the North East side of Indy, Patora Fine Jewelers formerly International Diamond and Gold Designs. My busniess partner, unfortunately, passed away 2001.
I am still married to Buzz Hickman. We have three grown children, Brett 38yrs, Angela 34yrs & Dawn 33yrs. Eight grandchildren that range from
2yrs to 14yrs (only one granddaughter, the rest are boys). Buzz is a Cardiologist at St Francis Hospital and we still live in Indianpolis.
