Pamela's Story
After first marriage ended, married high school sweetheart, Mike Steele, 23 years after we graduated in 1973. Crazy in love with the White Sox since age 3 and passed this passion on to my oldest daughter, watch or go to every game. Enjoy Nascar and drag racing. Love to go to concerts, last concert attended - Sully Erna of Godsmack. Going to downtown Chicago is a blast, so much to do, wish I could live there. I did live in the Belmont Harbor area from 1977 to 1987, but couldn't get myself to go to Wrigley Field until Sox played them. Worked in loop for 20 years and really miss it. Employed as law office administrator for great law firm. Love to garden like every woman does past the age of 50. Slowly, and I mean slowly, writing a screenplay which I know at least I laugh at. Had my second daughter at age 40, but I think she keeps me young. I try hard not to look like her grandmother! ditched as soon as we walk in, and stand there looking ridiculous. My girls are Amanda, age 21, and Alexis, age 12 I have 3 crazy cats, including 2 bengals, and a Jack Russell terrier. Not necessarily a good mix with the cats. After ten years they are still trying to kill each other.
Unfortunately, our house burned down in 2000, which was a total bummer. However, the upside to this is I now have a killer master suite!
Also, unfortunately, I got hit by a car in 1992 by an 84 year old senior citizen, who just plowed into me. However, there was an upside to this trauma too. After I settled with the insurance, I treated myself to a Corvette. I mean I really had been through a lot, and I figured I deserved it. I guess it's true, if you look you can always find a silver lining!
I'm tired of the winters up here, and would love to move to Florida. So if anyone knows of any great family communities, give me a holler.
