ng yoga off and on for about 20 years and used it and Reiki in my Occupational Therapy practice. After retiring from full time work, I was able to devote my time to develop a second career as a yoga instructor. I completed my 200 hour yoga alliance teacher training in December 2013. I then became certified in Chair/Senior Yoga and meditation. Most recently I became a certified instructor of Curvy Yoga. I have concentrated on enlightening others to the fact that yoga is for everyone â all sizes, shapes and ages by providing Chair/Senior Yoga and Beginner Yoga to those who have thought they could never do yoga. I hope to empower each student with self-care knowledge physically and mentally, encouraging and hoping to inspire a consistent home practice. All of my teachings â Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master Teacher and Occupational Therapist â compliment each other by bringing body, mind, and soul together.
In my spare time, I enjoy being in nature by walking, going to the beach, gardening, traveling, knitting, crocheting, reading and spending time with my family.
