Life
2009, The 80's sure were rough but I got through them! I married Norman Miller (Matt's oldest brother) in 1989. We have two girls and a boy, and no pets at the moment. Moved to the mountains in '95 and home-schooled until 2002, during which time I received a Duke grant and became the Founder and Director of a library and computer center in Ashe County. I went back to work as a court reporter for NC so Norm could retire from general contracting and also helped develop and teach a specialized voice recognition program for court reporters and closed captioners. Norm didn't retire. We now live back in Havelock and I'm going to school and looking for just a plain old every day job with no hassles.
2022 update. Wow have things changed! Living in Otway, near Harkers Island with a rooster, four hens, 10 babies, and a cat. Finished up a little more than 10 years with the federal government and finally had enough by 2018. I've started a small lavender farm and I'm working for Century 21 Coastal advantage. 2021 was an awful year with regard to health but I'm doing better and excited to get back into life! (and Norm still isn't retired)
