The empty nest years are wonderful. Who knew 45 could be such a great age! My 4 grown children have produced 8 wonderful grandkids. I only get to see 2 regularly though.
I'm in the process of trying to get 2 children's books published. I'm still loving the Dallas Cowboys, sewing, camping, crafting, reading, cross-stitching.
My Job
I work as a receptionist at a Veterinary Hospital. The hours are great since I'm finally getting to work on my writing and crafting. Marrying so young & raising children didn't allow time for me - so now I'm finally getting to work on me!

nching pad in my spiritual journey with Christ. I knew their had to be more than sitting on pew praying to a distant God. Now I really know what a Father is.
Four years ago I went to Nicaragua Central America on a mission trip - a life changing experience. So many underfed, underloved, lost children! America with all its faults is Eden. In January I will be going to Costa Rica on another missionary trip to help rebuild a church do to flooding in the area.
School
The best times were cruising town! An activity that is foreign to todays kids. The funniest memory is of cramming in Donna Murphey's Mustang with 5 others going to the prom!!
