Pamela's Story
Russ (who is also a OHS 1975 graduate) and I married in April of 1977. We have two incredible kids, Laura (30) who is married to a great guy, Chad and has two beautiful step-daughters, Alyssa (16) and Tiara (12), and Jim (27) who just got married in September 2008 to a wonderful gal Evka and a perfect fit for our family. Not being very happy with the complications of city life, we moved our family to Durango Colorado in 1994. The kids adjusted better than we expected (they LOVED it) and Russ and I found out that we were really "country kids" at heart. After working for other people and working in the construction field for 30 years, we decided to start our own custom home building business, Custom Touch Builders, in 2002. It's been a great success and in this economy, we are blessed with on going projects.

ngo native who owns a locksmithing business in town. Jim wanted to experience college life a little further from home, so he went to Univ. of Northern Colorado and is now working as a Systems Administrator (networks security) for a firm in Boulder CO. Evka, his wife is an events planner.
Russ and I enjoy working together, fly fishing, camping, and hiking with our dog Ruby. Russ built a river dory boat, which makes for a great time on week long float trips. And if we're not in the dory or our raft we are exploring the back country in our jeep. We've lived here 15 years and still have not seen all the great places Durango has to offer. We also enjoy spending time hanging out with our family and cooking together. When relatives come for a visit, we spend time together hanging out in the kitchen, cooking, laughing and eating...yum!!
