Hey all you 1980 grads, I'm currently living in Denver with my husband, Michael, Tom and I got divorced in 1990. Mike and I have been together for 10 years. I have 2 kids and 2 grandkids. They are my pride & joy. I'm so greatful they all live in Colorado & I can see them all the time. I guess I missed the 25 year reunion, never heard from Craig after I sent him an e-mail. That's ok though, I'm very happy with where I am in my life, even though I'm on permanent disability from 2 failed back surgeries. I have a very supportive family and could never imagine my life without Mike, my children & grandchildren. In case you're courious, Tom Short is living in London, England, he moved there after his mom passed away in May 2004. He had been living in Belgium for years prior to that & moved back to Colorado in 2003. Let's just say all of the family is very happy he is in England. I would love to hear from anyone from our 1980 class.
Ok, now it's 2011 and things have changed a little bit. If anyone's interested, Tom Short is now living in Australia. It's funny how he keeps getting farther and farther away from his kids. His mother would be extremely disappointed. Oh well, his loss. My current husband, Mike and I are still together. Going on 17 yea...Expand for more
rs and still very happy. My grandkids are now 8 and 10. Hard to believe they are that old. That means that I'm getting older as well and that very hard to grasp age of "50" is just around the corner. Does anyone else have a problem with turning 50 like I do? I can remember going to my mother's surprise 50th birthday party. That seems like it was yesterday!! Oh well, it's coming whether I like it or not.
Mike and I are going to Lake Tahoe on Sept 18, 2011 for a week. It should be beautiful there and we may see the fall colors changing or just staring to change. We haven't taken a trip together since we drove to Tulsa, Oklahoma to get our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. That was back in 2000 and it wasn't like we were going to Disneyland or something......it was TULSA!! But it was worth the trip to get our puppy. Ozzy was the greatest and we miss him dearly. If anyone else has ever had a Rhodesian Ridgeback, you understand the connection with the breed. They are a unique breed with a temperment unlike no other breed of dog I've ever had. Anyway, we are really looking forward to our Tahoe trip. My daughter has been living with us for 2 1/2 years and we live in a small place, so some time to ourselves is going to be so wonderful.
