Life
My friend, Debbie, referred me to this website. It's so hard to believe I graduated 35 years ago! During that time, I have totally lost touch with my friends. I don't know about the rest of you, but even though I am almost 53, inside I am only about 25. It's a shame our kids cannot conceive of the idea we are about their same ages in our hearts! :) Anyway, enough of that. After high school, I graduated from UNC-G with a degree in Social Welfare. During my junior year of college, my husband I got married. ghters who are now 26 and 24. After Southern Life closed, I eventually wound up where I have been for the past 18 years as an office manager/corporate secretary for an electrical contractor. Our lives have been wrapped up in our children and work for so long that it was a bit strange to start with when the girls left home. Now, it's pretty nice to be able to come and go as we please again!
Our oldest daughter is a Paleontologist working on her doctorate in Montana under Dr. Jack Horner. My youngest daughter is living in Greenville, NC working in Washington at the Curiosity Shoppe and will be attending community college there in the fall. That pretty much sums up the past 35 for me!
