Pamela's Story
After Milford High, my parents moved to Westland and I went to John Glenn. My best friends there were Patt Loftus, Donna Green and Judy Cornfoot. A diverse group for me.
I married Darrell Patton in September of '71. Moved around the country, lived in England - saw the interior of every motor cycle shop in London (never saw Buckingham Palace). We divorced in 1976.
Stayed single for several years and had no idea what to do with me. Then I met Conan Gosline (JGHS graduate) at church. We married in 1979 and had 4 beautiful girls. We stayed active in the church and homeschooled the girls. During that time I learned to sign for the hearing impaired. I worked occasionally at Ford Motor Co and the court system. Conan died tragically in 1993.
I remarried - one of Conan's friends. Jerry Bauer (WMHS graduate). He brought two beautiful girls into my life. Together we have raised 6 women that I absolutely love and respect.
Amanda my oldest, is single-drives 18 wheelers and is waiting for God's best for her. Bethany is divorced and mother of 2 boys....physically, she reminds me most of Conan. Cathryne is married, mother of two and also a homemaker. Kristie...Expand for more

I have worn many hats.I have designed sets, written plays and taught Missionettes and homeschooled for ten years. My favorite job was as a librarian (I did the work, chose the books, but didn't get the pay) in the Wayne Westland School District.
Currently, I work at Stevenson Middle school as a secretary/book keeper. My job is Internal Accounts, District Accounts, Title I, NCA, PBS, purchasing for the school.and prayer at my desk.
Nine years ago I began a business "Chick's Jewelry Designs, LLC." I design and create jewelry from sterling silver, semi-precious gemstones and Swarovski crystal components. Recently, I began to take metal working classes to open up more avenues for designs. I sell my designs at art shows.
Finally, at 57, I've decided that as soon as I retire, I'm going to go into jewelry design full time. I love it and derive great satisfaction seeing other people wearing my art.
